These thermoform tiles are made from UV Stabilized .030" thick vinyl plastic. They are designed to provide all the functionality of conventional drop ceiling tiles at a fraction of the weight. The sturdy construction makes them a breeze to install, easy to clean, stain resistant, water resistant, dust free, and eco friendly! Installation is fast and couldn't be any easier.

Designed to fit all standard 15/16" - 1" T-Bar and 9/16" T-Bar Ceiling Systems.

Most of the thermoform ceiling tiles come in two sizes, 2'x2' and 2'x4'. If you have a 2x4 grid ceiling, but prefer the look of 2x2 ceiling tiles, simply insert a 2' center T bar available online or at most local hardware's easy!

The Cambridge 2x4 is a versatile option that can be used for both direct mount and drop ceiling applications. It is the only direct mount tile in our ProLite collection that is available in the 2x4 size. You will find that it is a great time saver since it will help you cover twice the space in half the time. It has the same classic simplicity as the Stratford, yet has a flat back which allows it to be glued to a flat surface. Being that it is Class A Fire rated, it is an excellent choice for most businesses and homes. We are also proud to say that it is made in the USA.

Things to Consider:
If you are planning to directly mount these on your ceiling, the Grid Strips are a must have accessory for covering the seams between each tile. We encourage you to save a trip to the store by purchasing our Red Devil adhesive for your direct mount application. If you would prefer to pick up something locally, we have found that PL Premium Advanced (Loctite brand) works great.

Since the Cambridge tile is twice as thick as the Stratford tile, it is able to handle a bit of weight. If you'd like to keep your existing tile in the grid for acoustical/sound barrier purposes, you are able to do so without the risk of sagging.

If your grid is already white and in good condition, it should match the white Cambridge tile very well. If you are going with a colored option, we highly recommend that you consider the Grid Tape or Grid Strips since they are color coordinated with the ProLite collection. If you would prefer to avoid the extra expense, you can of course paint your grid as well.

Greenguard Gold Certification offers strict certification criteria that considers safety factors to account for sensitive individuals (such as children and the elderly), and ensures that a product is acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities. It is referenced by both The Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Building Rating System. Click here for more information.

UL Listing/Certification
Certain ProLite ceiling tiles are approved drop-out ceiling panels that can be installed beneath fire sprinklers. When exposed to heat from a developing fire, drop-out ceiling panels soften, distort, and fall from the ceiling grid. Heat from the growing fire activates the sprinkler which, unimpeded by the panels, controls or extinguishes the fire. Click here for more information.

Materials used in the construction of the tile(s) are 100% waterproof.

Class A Fire Rated
Tiles have been tested in accordance with ASTM 84e and scored a Class A rating for flame spread and smoke generation.

Fabulous Product

I can not tell you what a difference the installation of the Cambridge Ceiling Tiles made in my home. The room has been transformed from an ordinary room to one that just is elegant and sophisticated. They were fairly easy to install. It would be great if ProCeiling offered border tiles for this design and color. As cutting the tiles so they rested perfectly on the tracks was a challenge at times. Edde, my customer service representative was patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Without her support and guidance I do NOT know if I would have made the purchase. But I am glad I did! A great product, the tiles are sturdy and the color is perfect!

Hi William, thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We're so happy to hear that your project went well. The Cambridge does have a 'border' tile, called the Oxford. It looks almost identical, but the design is flipped 180 degrees. Because it is so close in appearance, we do not show it online as a 2x4 to avoid confusion, but it is available. If you ever have any questions, or are working on another project, don't hesitate to reach out; anyone here would be happy to help. Thanks again for your review, and for including us in your project!

I like the product

I like the product, and Don was helpful on my installation questions. The room looks great, the only think I was not very sure about the product is too flimsy, may if it was a bit thicker, would be better, the reason I say that is that I installed pot lights, and I had to install extra support for them as they were too heavy for the ceiling tiles.

Hi Walter, thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We're so glad to hear that you love the look. Generally, ceiling tiles themselves are not meant to bear weight (even if they can, for example with insulation or modern clip-in LED lights), and we manufacture them to be thick enough to stay rigid, yet thin enough to keep costs low possible. While it took a bit more work than expected, you did the right thing in adding support for your lights. If you ever have questions, our team here would be happy to help. Thanks again for your review, and for including us in your project!

Looks great with my 6” Square LED lights

I recently transformed my ugly drop ceiling in my kitchen, to a bright and beautiful ceiling. Although the Cambridge is thicker than the Stratford, my electrician added 2x4 Masonite to make sure the 6” square LED lights didn’t cause the ceiling tiles to droop. I’m very happy with the end results and have attached the before and after pictures.

Lots of positive feedback from customer base

I run a brick n mortar smoothie shop that sees 100+ people per day and the overwhelming feedback is that they love the ceiling! I'm very pleased with how the ceiling turned out and the service I received from along the way! I recommend

A perfect job

On time. Perfect order. Easy to return parts. And what is lacking every where these days: Excellent Customer Service. Couldn't be more pleased with Jason and ProCeilingTiles.

Great look, we love it

The ceiling was easy to install. Everyone says it looks great and we love it. Would recommend it to anyone. Our only problem is that our house is very old and the room's walls are not even. The dimensions are not the same from one end to the other. We had to buy more sheets for it to work but it was easy to cut and didn't take long to install.

Better than Expected

I had an exterior area, a terrace (12 ft. x 24 ft.) ceiling. I was going to just paint the plywood, but then I checked out the tiles. I got them up in two days. Looks great.

Looks great but odd sizes not easy to put up

Installing the full tile is very easy and they look nice. However, when you have to cut to fit it's not that easy to install and get them to lay on the grid right.

Hi Shirley, thank you for taking the time to share your review! You're right, these can be tricky to use in their traditional way when cut to fit smaller openings such as borders. For the White Cambridge, you can either flip the tile over so that its design elements do not protrude down, or purchase the Oxford tile (the same as the Cambridge if it were flipped over). With either option, you can cut to size for any opening and it will sit nicely while being easy to install. Thanks again, we look forward to being part of your next project!

Don't hesitate to beautify a dropped ceiling with these lovely, lightweight panels that are a cinch to install over the nasty-looking drop ceilings tiles. My room looks and feels brand new. This is a genius solution!!
