Old World style and modern day ease come together in our Legacy faux tin tiles. Intricate design elements with attention to the details, provide beauty that is sure to enhance any room's decor.

Our Legacy tiles are made of durable, UV stabilized .030" vinyl. They are water resistant, easy to clean, lightweight and easy to install. And, because they are water resistant, Legacy tiles are mold and mildew resistant, too! All of our Legacy ceiling tiles meet Class A fire rating standards - often essential for commercial or residential installations that require a fire rating for ceiling tiles to meet local fire codes.

These tiles work for both grid mount and direct mount applications. It fits standard 15/16" suspension systems. Will not fit in a 9/16" grid, please measure the visible width of your grid. These tiles give the decorative, tin ceiling look at an affordable price.

The Venice tile evokes the extravagance that the city is known for. It’s a versatile option for both direct mount and grid applications. At .030” thick, it is twice as thick as our other series of tiles. If you are planning to direct mount these to your ceiling, you will love the way that they overlap. No seams to conceal, so there is no need to buy the Grid Strips. Great money saver!

Things to Consider:
For direct mount applications, it is our experience that Dap Weldwood Contact Cement performs better than regular construction adhesive. If you would rather use adhesive, we highly recommend a formula by Loctite brand called PL Premium Advanced.

If you are using these in your drop ceiling, you will probably want to make sure your grid looks just as elegant as the tiles. Our Legacy Grid Strips are the perfect solution. You can also use our Grid Tape, but keep in mind that it is made by a different manufacturer, so it won’t be an exact color match.

Since your ceiling will more than likely have partial tiles at the perimeter, you will have to cut your tiles to size for those areas. This can create a gap running into the wall with some styles. Since this tile projects only slightly at .125”, you may not find the need for a border tile. Should you decide you need one, our Legacy Border Tiles are the perfect remedy.

Waterproof
Materials used in the construction of the tile(s) are 100% waterproof.

Class A Fire Rated
Tiles have been tested in accordance with ASTM 84e and scored a Class A rating for flame spread and smoke generation.

Looks great

I used these tiles as accent ceiling tiles, and it turned out great! I do recommend the sound batting on top of the tiles.

Much prettier i. Person

I have not put up this pattern as yet but I have received it and it is very striking I am anxious to see it on my high ceiling. I have used this product before in a different home and was very very happy with the outcome

Wow

These tiles, which were used in a bar area, look fantastic. No one can believe they're not real copper, and at 25% of copper's cost for a tile with no detail. Highly recommend.

Final WOW to our Living Room remodel.

We loved the style we picked for our living room ceiling. We have beems that make 12 individual squares on the ceiling and talked with the owner at ProCeilingTiles about the best way to install the tiles. My husband measured and I cut them. It looks marvelous and anyone who has seen it is amazed we did it ourselves. They agree with us how wonderful it looks and the richness it gives the room. You can see the results on the website.

Dramatic Look

I spent days trying to find the best way to put these up. First trying to find an adhesive that would actually hold a tile up without a long wait time holding it until the glue set up. I looked at all the recommended products but looked at the reviews of people that used them nothing looked good , I looked at liquid nails most of them are too hard to get out of caulking gun and all of them get messy , which will find a way to get on the pretty side of the tile....not good... I finally found something that was not messy, it holds up instantly which can cause another problem. it has no adjustment time it has to be lined up both ways before you set it in place. What I used was two sided carpet tape , I went all around the edges and a couple strips spaced out in the middle. I used sewing pins with plastic heads to place on the lines for the first two tiles... a few pins on only two sides. Slowly raise the tile up with the pins to guide it into place. Or have two people put it up together.Press the tile in place then pull the pins out. After you have a tile up you can line up the other tiles to the edges of the one already up. VERY important to get that first tile right Another step to do is ...when you butt up the seams if the ceiling is lighter than your tiles you should paint where all the seams will be. The edge on this tile is very close to black so you will need to draw lines on your ceiling where the seams will be and paint a 2" strip or black paint so seam gaps won't show also paint all along the edges of the walls. or just paint the whole ceiling. So you don't see any seams when the tiles are up .The other choice would be to overlap the tile seams so you won't see any seam gap .Another Very Important step is try and find straight walls you will need a carpenter square and check all corners . If you don't have straight lines going both directions they will drift off very quickly. Take you time drawing lines on the ceiling and double check before you stick the first tile. It's a challenge for the do- it -yourself person.. but can be done. Just more prep time than hang time.

We Love It!!!

This product is so pretty and wonderful to work with. I was a little skeptical on the strips, and the application process.... they are so easy to install! We decided to put the old ceiling tiles back on top of these tiles, for soundproofing and insulation purposes. We installed them in the room with our pool table, which is just below the master bedroom. We love them so much, we decided to extend them into the bar area. The clip on strips are the way to go. We had a pre-existing drop ceiling.
