Had to return the first one
The first one did not work. This is a typical China build so don't expect much. The main board is not enclosed so it just sits in the box. There are better and cheaper ones out there. Which I found out after I ordered. I returned the first one for a credit but they shipped me a second one. I will keep as a spare, I am using a fully enclosed one that I got elsewhere.

Dimmer worked well; but
The controls is a surface mount and would look out of place if replacing a "normal" switch.
I took the dimmer apart - relocated the I/R sensor for the remote control. Then mounted the circuit board in a standard wall plate. The instructions did not indicate the size wire to use leading from the dimmer to the light/
